About Amanda Bryson

Amanda was born on March 17, 1995 in Rogers, Arkansas to Bill and Sharon Bryson. She had two loving sisters, Heather Hammonds and Julie Coston. Amanda was very close with her family, especially her parents, sisters, and niece Lily Hammonds.

From a young age, Amanda was active and excelled in sports, competing in bowling and track and field through the Special Needs Athletic Program. She looked forward to attending Camp Barnabus each summer where she could participate in a variety of fun outdoor activities with friends.

Amanda was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Rogers for the past 24 years. She was actively involved in her church Life Group. Her faith was important to her.

Amanda's Interests and Hobbies

In her free time, Amanda enjoyed shopping, working on puzzles, crafting, and spending quality time with her family. Arts and crafts were one of her favorite hobbies. She also liked cheering on her favorite sports teams.

Amanda loved the companionship of her dogs. She had a caring, nurturing spirit and bonded deeply with her furry friends. Her loyal pups brought her endless joy and comfort over the years.

Vacations were a special time for Amanda. She looked forward to trips with her family where she could relax, soak up the sun, and make lasting memories. The beach was one of her favorite destinations.

Five months ago, Amanda was diagnosed with brain cancer which she bravely battled until her passing. This was a shocking and devastating diagnosis for her and her loved ones.

Even during her illness, Amanda tried to maintain a positive spirit. She found strength in her faith and the support of family and friends. Amanda fought hard, but sadly the disease progressed rapidly.

In her final weeks, Amanda was surrounded by her parents, sisters, niece and other close family members who provided care and comfort. Their love never wavered during this difficult time.

Honoring Her Life

To honor Amanda's life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12 at 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church in Rogers. There will be a viewing from 10:00-11:00AM prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens.

While there is great sadness at her passing, her loved ones find peace knowing Amanda's suffering has ended and her soul is at rest. She will be forever in their hearts.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Camp Barnabus, a place dear to Amanda's heart. This will allow other special needs children to enjoy camp experiences that brought Amanda such joy.
